Psalm 111:1-6 (NKJV) Praise the Lord! I will praise the Lord with my whole heart, In the assembly of the upright and in the congregation. 2 The works of the Lord are great, Studied by all who have pleasure in them. 3 His work is honorable and glorious, And His righteousness endures forever. 4 He has made His wonderful works to be remembered; The Lord is gracious and full of compassion. 5 He has given food to those who fear Him; He will ever be mindful of His covenant. 6 He has declared to His people the power of His works, In giving them the heritage of the nations.

The faithful are called to praise the Lord along with the psalmist without inhibition or distraction in public and in private gatherings. Praise God for all His works of creation and also for His redemption. To deny God as Creator is to deny Christ as Savior. If you accept the Lord Jesus Christ as Savior, then you also accept God as Creator. “The works of the Lord are great, Studied by all who have pleasure in them. His work is honorable and glorious, And His righteousness endures forever” (Psalm 111:2-3 NKJV). God established the Passover as a lasting memorial of Israel’s salvation by the blood of the lamb. It is an enduring remembrance of God’s grace and mercy. In the Lord’s Supper, the Lord Jesus Christ established a memorial of our salvation by the blood of the Lamb of God who took our place on the cross. It is a lasting reminder that God is gracious and full of compassion. God remembered His promise He made with Abraham. And God remembers His new covenant that He made with all who would accept His Son Jesus Christ as their Savior. My friends, God is faithful and true. God keeps His promises. Just as God saved the Jews with the blood of the lamb. God saves us by the blood of a greater Lamb. God saves us by the redemption power of the shed blood of His Son Jesus Christ. God delivered the Jews from Egypt and brought them safely into the Promised Land, the heritage of the nations. Just as God will deliver all who will believe in His Son Jesus Christ, and He will see them safely into His heavenly Kingdom. My friends, do you believe? If you do, then sing a Hallelujah. Praise the Lord for His redemption. Thank God for His saving grace.

God Bless and have a great day in God’s Word.
