Hebrews 10:35-39 (NKJV) 35 Therefore do not cast away your confidence, which has great reward. 36 For you have need of endurance, so that after you have done the will of God, you may receive the promise: 37 “For yet a little while, And He who is coming will come and will not tarry. 38 Now the just shall live by faith; But if anyone draws back, My soul has no pleasure in him.” 39 But we are not of those who draw back to perdition, but of those who believe to the saving of the soul.

“Do not cast away your confidence” can also be said as “Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful” (Hebrews 10:23 NKJV). My friends, let us draw near to God as we hold fast our confession of faith through trials and tribulations. Because we have a blessed hope. Therefore, we ought to be patience holding on to the future hope of the fulfillment of our faith when the Lord Jesus Christ returns. Let us then live by faith for God has justified us by the substitutional sacrifice of His Son Jesus Christ. And He raised His Son from the dead, and now the living Christ is seated at the right hand of the Father where He intercedes for us. This is the truth of God’s Word on which our faith rests upon. Again, let us live by faith and not draw back to a life of sin which leads to death. Nor let us allow discouragement, persecution, hardship and the like to steal our hope. “What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?” (Romans 8:31 NKJV). My friends, let us go on living by faith for God.

God Bless and have a great day in God’s Word.
