Philippians 4:4 (NKJV) Rejoice in the Lord always. Again I will say, rejoice!

Paul is speaking to believers, and he says to them, and to us, “Rejoice in the Lord always, Again I will say, rejoice!” We are to be able to rejoice in the Lord in the morning, in the afternoon, and in the evening. No matter the time of day, we are to be able to “Rejoice in the Lord”. No matter our situation in life, no matter the circumstances of life we are to “Rejoice in the Lord”. In good times and in bad times. In gladness and in sorrow. When all is going well and when everything is going wrong. We are to be able to “Rejoice in the Lord”. And just in case we did not hear Paul the first time, he says, “Again I will say, rejoice!” This joy that Paul is talking about is not based on how things are going in our lives. Paul is talking about joy that is a fruit of the Holy Spirit. This type of joy cannot be taken away from us. Because it is not produced by external factors of our lives. Rather it is produced internally by the Holy Spirit who dwells within us and works within us to produce joy in our lives. My friends, you can’t live the Christian life without joy. God has given us richly all things through Christ Jesus our Lord and Savior. God has blessed us with spiritual blessings and physical blessings. And God wants us to enjoy them. Joy, my friends, gives us the power to live for Christ. For to be a productive Christian, we must radiate the joy of the Lord in our lives.

God Bless and have a great day in God’s Word.
