Psalm 144:11-15 (NKJV) 11 Rescue me and deliver me from the hand of foreigners, Whose mouth speaks lying words, 12 That our sons may be as plants grown up in their youth; That our daughters may be as pillars, Sculptured in palace style; 13 That our barns may be full, Supplying all kinds of produce; That our sheep may bring forth thousands And ten thousands in our fields; 14 That our oxen may be well laden; That there be no breaking in or going out; That there be no outcry in our streets. 15 Happy are the people who are in such a state; Happy are the people whose God is the Lord!
As a result of his rescue, David will sing a new song to the Lord. David will praise the Lord who rescued him from the deadly sword of his enemies who speak lies about him. When David is delivered from these subversive adversaries, then his kingdom will enjoy peace and will flourish. Actually, the land and the people of Israel will not enjoy real peace, tranquility and prosperity until the Lord Jesus Christ returns to put down his enemies and establish His Millennial Kingdom. Then the people will be truly blessed. Families will be strong in unity, engaged with one another, and productive in their work. The sons will be healthy, strong, God fearing and handsome. The daughters will be elegant and beautiful. The curse on the land will be lifted. And it will bear an abundance of fruit. The barns and silos will overflow with all kinds of grain and produce. The sheep will multiply, and the extremely large herds will cover the hillsides. The oxen will be laden down with immense loads of the harvest. There will be no foreign invaders, and there will be no riots in the streets. These conditions will bring joy and happiness to the people. “Happy are the people whose God is the Lord!”
God Bless and have a great day in God’s Word.
