Proverbs 20:29 (NKJV) The glory of young men is their strength, And the splendor of old men is their gray head.

This proverb is saying “behave in a mature way; don’t act younger than you are.” In other words, “act your age.” The young man in his prime is the one to be the athlete. The old man for health reasons and safety better not try to act young. Many older men can surely remember when they were younger, they could do many physical activities with ease. But they better act their age and show a little wisdom, because that is what both gray and white hairs ought to indicate. However, there is a bright side, for every church needs both young men for strength and old men for wisdom.

God Bless and have a great day in God’s Word.
