Isaiah 33:17-19 (NKJV) 17 Your eyes will see the King in His beauty; They will see the land that is very far off. 18 Your heart will meditate on terror: “Where is the scribe? Where is he who weighs? Where is he who counts the towers?” 19 You will not see a fierce people, A people of obscure speech, beyond perception, Of a stammering tongue that you cannot understand.

The faithful remnant of Israel will be secured and satisfied in Christ’s Kingdom here on earth. They will see the Lord Jesus Christ in His beauty. They will see Him in glory, the Lamb that once was slain. They will cry out Hallelujah, Hallelujah to Christ their Redeemer. And the land which Israel occupies now will be greatly expanded in Christ’s Kingdom here on earth. The Great Tribulation will be a harmless memory as is the time they fought the Assyrians. The Israelites were watchful, listening closely for any foreign languages. The Israelites were on guard and ready to fight. These verses look back in the past, and forward to the future. These verses have a direct application to the nation of Israel. These verses have an application for us today as well. We are to be watchful against the intrusion of sin into our lives. The Lord Jesus Christ will keep us secured and satisfied, if we abide in Him. Our submission, trust and faith in Christ will help us to be still and know that He is God. When we are truly thankful for God’s provisions and His blessings, then we need nothing else. For when we are fully submitted to God, we can truly say: “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ” (Ephesians 1:3 NKJV). We have all in God, every need and every desire are given to us in Christ. If, by faith, we walk uprightly in Christ, in a manner worthy of our calling, then we shall see Christ in His beauty of holiness. When we come to Christ for salvation, the memory of our desperate situation that we were in while living in sin, shall add to the pleasure of our deliverance. By faith we are God’s people, and Christ shall reign over all who He has redeemed. But all who refuse to accept the Lord Jesus Christ as their Savior will lose their lives and their souls. My friends, come to Christ and accept Him as your Lord and Savior. Jesus can forgive your sins because of what He has done for you on the cross. There is redeeming power in the blood of Jesus. My friends, Christ can remove your sins, and He will heal your soul, if you accept Him as your Lord and Savior.

God Bless and have a great day in God’s Word.
