Job 5:8-9 (NKJV) 8 “But as for me, I would seek God, And to God I would commit my cause—9 Who does great things, and unsearchable, Marvelous things without number.

My friends, lets continue reading verses 10 through 16: “He gives rain on the earth, And sends waters on the fields. He sets on high those who are lowly, And those who mourn are lifted to safety. He frustrates the devices of the crafty, So that their hands cannot carry out their plans. He catches the wise in their own craftiness, And the counsel of the cunning comes quickly upon them. They meet with darkness in the daytime, And grope at noontime as in the night. But He saves the needy from the sword, From the mouth of the mighty, And from their hand. So the poor have hope, And injustice shuts her mouth.” Amen. My friends, Job is telling us that God is faithful and true. God is good and just. And God is all-powerful and all-knowing. Just these attributes of God alone ought to cause us to seek God and commit ourselves to Him. Instead of chasing after the temporary things and false wisdom of this world. It is as Blaise Pascal said: “There is a God-shaped vacuum in the heart of every man which cannot be filled by any created thing, but only by God, the Creator, made known through Jesus.” My friends, only a relationship with Christ will give you the forgiveness, peace, joy and love that your heart is longing for. All you have to do, my friends, is accept Christ as your Lord and Savior. “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life” (John 3:16 NKJV).

God Bless and have a great day in God’s Word.
